Child and Adolescent Assessment
Psychological Assessment is a crucial tool in determining an accurate diagnosis and developing a proper treatment plan. Furthermore, assessment provides a quantitative method for measuring client improvement and treatment efficacy. Dr. Jungkuntz conducts assessments for learning disorders, autism spectrum disorders, ADHD and other acting out behaviors, and danger to self or others.
Dr. Jungkuntz is trained in administering and interpreting over 30 different psychological testing scales, as well as providing feedback and diagnostic considerations for treatment. He has developed a comprehensive assessment for drug and alcohol abuse, and specializes in assessment of child and adolescent disorders such as Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism, Disruptive Behavior Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Conduct Disorder, Depression, Anxiety Disorders, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and Bipolar Disorders.
Assessments can be individually tailored to meet the needs of each client. Dr. Jungkuntz has more than 15 years of experience assessing and evaluating children and adolescents in school and hospital setings. Moreover, he has provided diagnostic assessment for universities, jails, probation camps, community mental health centers, and alternatives to incarceration programs.
